What we stand behind

We document what we find, quote a fixed price, and do the work. If something we installed fails because of the way we installed it, we come back and correct it. That is the whole promise, in plain language.

1. Workmanship Guarantee

EVRNEW warrants the labor on every job we perform for ten years from the date of completion. If an installation fails during that period because of how it was installed, we will return and correct it at no cost to you — no trip charge, no labor charge, no charge for the materials needed to make it right.

This applies across the work we do: attic and crawlspace cleanouts, insulation, crawlspace encapsulation and vapor barriers, sanitation, ventilation corrections, and sump pump installation. Rodent exclusion carries its own term, described in section 3.

2. Materials and Manufacturer Coverage

The products we install carry their own manufacturer warranties, which are separate from our workmanship guarantee and are issued by the manufacturer rather than by EVRNEW. Terms vary by product.

We install materials that meet NAIMA and ENERGY STAR standards, and we register applicable manufacturer warranties in your name at the close of the job. Your completion paperwork lists the specific products installed, so the coverage that applies to your home is documented rather than assumed. If a covered product fails, we will help you file the manufacturer claim and handle the labor per the terms below.

3. Rodent Exclusion Work

Rodent exclusion is the one part of our work we cover differently, because whether rodents return depends on more than the seals themselves. Where we seal a structure against rodents and perform sanitation as part of the same scope, we warrant the seals we installed for twelve months. Sanitation removes the scent trails that draw animals back to old entry points; without it, no seal can be fairly guaranteed, so exclusion-only work carries no warranty.

If rodents re-enter through a point we sealed during those twelve months, we return, identify the failure, and re-seal it at no charge. New entry points created after our work — by other trades, by remodeling, by storm or structural damage, or by removal of our materials — fall outside this coverage, though we are glad to quote them.

4. What Is Covered

  • Installation defects in the labor we performed.
  • Insulation that settles, shifts, or separates because of how it was installed.
  • Vapor barrier and encapsulation seams that fail at points we sealed.
  • Rodent entry through openings we sealed as part of an exclusion-plus-sanitation scope, per the terms in section 3.
  • Equipment we installed that fails within the manufacturer's warranty period, including the labor to replace it.

5. What Is Not Covered

A warranty is only useful if its limits are stated as clearly as its promises. This coverage does not extend to:

  • Pre-existing conditions outside the scope we were contracted to correct, including conditions noted in your inspection report but declined at the time of quoting.
  • Damage caused by other contractors, by the homeowner, or by anyone who enters or alters the space after our work is complete.
  • Structural, roofing, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC failures, and any water intrusion originating from them.
  • Flooding, storms, earthquakes, fire, and other events outside anyone's control.
  • Ordinary wear, and moisture or mold arising from a source we were not contracted to address.
  • Work performed by EVRNEW at a customer's direction against our written recommendation.

6. Transfer of Coverage

Coverage stays with the home for the remainder of its term if the property is sold. Have the new owner call us with the service address and the date of the original work, and we will confirm what remains in writing.

7. How to Make a Claim

  1. Call us at 425-366-4941. Give us the service address and roughly when the work was done. Photos help if you have them.
  2. We pull your file. Every job is documented, so we can see what was installed, where, and by whom before we arrive.
  3. We inspect. We schedule a visit, find the cause, and tell you plainly whether it falls under warranty.
  4. We correct it. Covered work is scheduled and completed at no charge. If something falls outside coverage, you get a fixed-price quote before any work begins.

8. Conditions

This warranty is offered to the property owner of record for the address where the work was performed, and applies to accounts paid in full. It is the only warranty EVRNEW provides on its labor and replaces any verbal representation.

Nothing here limits the rights Washington law gives you as a consumer. Where a specific job carries different terms, the signed scope of work for that job controls.

9. Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask us before you sign — we would rather answer it twice than have you assume.
